Project Overview
Mission Statement
We deepen school impact and foster whole student growth with data-driven insights that serve, develop, and cultivate a community of enrollment and academic leaders. We aim to provide a single "through-line" of student journey data and support.
Target Audiences
Experienced, degree-holding K-12 independent school leaders and specialists who each use student data in their own lane (enrollment, curriculum, academic performance, or well-being).
Heads of school
Long-tenured independent school professionals, often ex-teachers who rose through admissions or development; late 40s–65.
Enrollment/admissions directors & deans
Similar background to heads of school; skews slightly younger (mid-30s+) and more female.
Academic Dean/Dean of Academics
K–12 independent school leaders, 35–60, master's degree, focused on academic performance, curriculum effectiveness, and data-driven decisions.
Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Education/curriculum professionals, 30–55, master's degree, focused on curriculum alignment and using data to guide instructional decisions.
Division Head/Principal

Learning Specialist
Education or special education professionals, 30–55, bachelor's/master's degree, focused on identifying student learning needs and using data to guide support and intervention.
School Counselor
Counseling professionals, 30–60, master's degree, focused on student well-being, belonging, and using data to guide support programs.

The software vendors that offer admissions software or full enrollment management systems can be lumped together as “friendenemies.”

Admission.org

Niche
The top school search platform is known for its rankings.

Test Innovators
Another for the "friendenemies" category. TI offers test prep and practice tests for both ISEE and SSAT.

Great Schools
There are a variety of other school search platforms. Another for the "friendenemies" category. Similar to Niche, our advantage lies in the SAO tie-in and access to NAIS DASL data.

Boarding School Review
Another school search platform. Looks very spammy.
E3n Website Selects

Western Reserve Academy
As an example for Admission.org, this site is probably a bit much regarding animation for what we’d want, but it’s in the right vein regarding being fun and appealing to pre-high school students.

Stripe
For E3n.org. Probably too minimalist and “techy” for us but good use of animations without being fussy. Still a decent use of color; a little too much white. Seamless integration of actual product/platform images. Unique page treatments that don’t feel overdesigned.

Beau Soleil
Like how they lean on imagery to tell their story and utilize cut-outs from their brand identity to overlay the images.

Christian Heritage
Interesting way they weaved the school’s positioning line throughout the design. Makes me wonder if “To the power of you” has similar legs on E3n.org and “Get ready to grow” on Admission.org.

Interactive Schools
Appreciate the usage of imagery and deep colors to create a subtle yet emotionally provocative design. The vibe here isn’t quite right for us, but similarly, we want the visitor to feel something. We want them to see that we’re different without having to tell them we’re different.
Vital Website Selects

Headspace
Inviting and playful without being too playful. Generous white space with subtle animations. Nice integration of brand elements with imagery. Nice split between Headspace for "you" vs organizations.

Handshake
A more modern take on playful. Large headlines with great type contrast. Color shifting backgrounds. Animated navigation bar.

Jasper
Fun and playful cut-and-paste style images. Lots of white but introduces color throughout.

Trulioo
Airy and open/calming feel with large photographic heroes and flat, conceptual illustrations.
