Competitors

Northeast Public/Flagship Universities

They are our neighbor state’s flagship institution. We compete for students with all northeast public flagship institutions.

SUNY Universities

They are our neighbor state’s flagship institution. We compete for students with all northeast public flagship institutions.

Boston University

A private school competitor, located in a big city.

University of Colorado-Boulder

They are the UVM of the Rockies - similar vibes, just larger.

UVM Foundation Website Selects

UConn Foundation

Sleek, clean, UX, elevated

UVM

Same reasons as above; also our branding

MICA

Inviting and dynamic; feels modern and well tended to; UX and visually exciting; background video as lead visual is nice on a landing page.

Cornell Alumni

The strong focus on storytelling. Admittedly the layout feels a bit stereotypically modular and higher-ed, which we would be eager to get away from.

Boise State University Foundation

Feels hefty without being overwhelming.

Rutgers Foundation

Love the video as hero image on the landing page. Nice layout and integration of alumni + foundation content.

Vital Website Selects

Brown Alumni & Friends

Simple/clean with great page flow and multiple jump off points

Perkins Access

Colorful, prominent give/donate buttons, great FAQ page design

Kenyon

Great use of colors, large imagery, lots of social proof building trust

Chan Zuckerberg

Subnav to other resources, easy filtering, featured posts
